For a few weeks Scott has been wanting to take the girls up the gorge to see the falls. So this morning we got up early, packed lunches and loaded into the car. Our first stop was at Crown Point. We got out and of course the wind pretty fierce. Savannah loved the wind and Ruby hated it. Some of the wind gusts made me feel like I was going to get knocked over. Scott told the girls this was called the "Windy Castle" and a beautiful princess lived there.
We then stopped at the falls along the old highway and the girls loved it. Savannah kept wanting to follow the crowds and hike to the top. She probably could have made it, but Ruby definitely couldn't and neither could I right now. It was a little cold by the falls with all the moisture in the air, but the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.
