Breakfast and Trees with Mum and Bepa

Mum and Bepa took us to breakfast yesterday at Biscuits. Mmmm it was good. There were even presents! Bepa got all the girls designer hand bags. There is nothing more exciting than handmade, Bepa crafts. Madison could not believe that Bepa made these all by himself. What talent!
Savannah seemed a little more excited for what was inside. "Yummy treat!"

Ruby was a little upset though because there were no treats inside hers, but her purse was an original. It had a brown line on the bottom!!

Madison got lots of presents from Mum and Bepa. She got her purse AND a new Christmas book AND a gingerbread house for her to make. What a lucky girl and it isn't even Christmas yet.
After breakfast we went to look for the perfect tree. K-mart parking lot had some trees that said "Home of the $8 trees" when we got there we found out that it was $8 per foot! Scott was able to talk the guy down to $25 and we thought that we were getting a pretty good deal.

Savannah was excited about the trees and took her purse to go exploring in the "forest" with Mum. She makes everything so fun and exciting for the little kids!
Madison thought it was cool that they had trees that were shorter than her.
Bepa showed Savannah how to run through the branches.
Ruby was asleep in the car so she missed out on all the excitement of picking out our perfect tree. We went home to decorate and what fun that was! Savannah thought it was pretty neat to put the decorations on the tree. And Madison was such a good sport and made it fun and exciting for her. We have the best decorated tree in town....well at least part of it is decorated. The part that 8 year old and 2 year old girls can reach.
Happy Holidays!

I love the picture of Ruby. She is always so serious! Saturday was a beautiful day to get a tree. Can you believe how warm it was?

Look at you... Catching on so quickly to this blogging thing! You have some adorable kids. I can't believe you're a mom. You're a cute one though! Isn't Tree shopping so much fun. Scarlett is too young to care, but we took her anyway. - Wendy

We don't get a tree this year because we have no room, so I am jealous of your tree :) Your Dad is the cutest Grandpa. So cute of him to make those little purses!
