For Labor day, we decided to go fishing. Bepa took us up to Trillium Lake on Mt. Hood. The weather was beautiful. The girls were so excited to catch fish. We didn't catch any. Scott caught two newts with the Barbie fishing pole that was his favorite and we all caught a lot of seaweed. The people all around us were catching lots. A family felt so sorry for us at the end that the dad got a fish on the line and had Savannah reel it in and keep it. Then as we were leaving they gave us a bag of fish. Savannah and Ruby were so excited to eat the fish that night, but when they tried it they both only took one bite, but both said it was really good! Mae was so good the whole time we were there. She pretty much stayed in the stroller and ate, but was happy to watch all that was going on around her.
